Quick question does anybody know how similar they sound ?
I haven't heard r2905 970000
But i do like revelator and illuminator tweeters sound.
Price difference is rather small but r2905 97000 is very simple swap out tweeter.
R3004 660000 i must re-route front panel.
I have listened sonus faber amati furutura speakers and there is 2905 tweeter but i don't know wich one i suspect 930000 or 950000 becouse detail is little bit missing ?

Generally, you will not make mistake with any of them. They all sound at least very good, 7100 7000 6600 are one of the best sounding silk tweeters. Easy to work with.
I used 6600 in my latest 2way project, and I like it a lot. To compare it with 9700, I think 6600 has more top end sparkle, airiness and detail.

My kit contains the D2905/970000 and the AudioTechnology 5H midwoofer. I don't know the difference to the Illuminator tweeters, but I can say that I am considering making a constellation where I use D3004/662000 instead. D2905/97 has a dip in the frequency above 15KHz and there is a correction element in my partial filter as I read it. I think it's the tweeter PeakConsult used in their first Incognito but that's just a guess as I think my kit is a clone of it.
