Studio Monitor 10" speakers or Live Passive 10" Speaker

I am conflicted between Studio Monitor 10" speakers or Live Passive 10" Speaker which are better i am using 8" monitor speaker for my working studio but which are better for a theater room furthur i am using 1000 Watt amplifier with passive speakers both the devices are in pair

a general advice will be appretiated you can check the specs of Monitor speakers here. i am thinking of going into neumann monitor speaker

Both options active vs passive both are fine and can work really well for the application in mind. Depends on your preference and experience with DIY. Suggest some kits if youre new to DIY, otherwise just try out different things of your preference, experience, time and budget.
The beauty of DIY is the flexibility and constant modifications and upgrades. It will cost though so hope you really enjoy this hobby because you will experience tons of bad design decisions.
Btw I’m not commenting on the link for a mass produced product, this is a DIY forum. Try gearslutz or something if you want advice on products.

Some questions to get the discussion started - you can use these to define the application and requirements for your DIY home theatre project
1) how big is the room, and what does it look like windows doors furniture etc
2) what amp is that 1000 watt thing
3) how loud do you want to play
4) how deep should the bass go
5) is it only for movies or also music
6) how many channels do you foresee? Atmos? 5.1? Separate subs?
7) how much money do you have
8) waf important?
9) what is your experience level with audio in general?
10) how much time do you have for this hobby/project and what is your expectation around sound quality
