This amp uses IRFP260N for the outputs .

Wondering can I install IRFP4229 just for testing purposes?

Be careful and watch for excessive current draw or heating of FETs.

Well either the amp didn’t like them or I have a drive issue since they blew almost instantly

Lift the center leg of all of the rectifiers, bridge across R220 on the BD driver board and install new FETs. Then you can check the drive circuit.

And there is no drive signal to Q2008

2006 and 2008 are driven by the same drive circuit.

R64 is defective .

Are the drive signals ok or do I have an issue ?

Rockford can have some strange drive signals but they generally look OK.

The problem is the loss of drive to Q2006.

Where is R64?

It’s sits here I removed it already it’s a 2.7 ohm resistor

Some of this model drive the FETs directly. Yours is one that has gate resistors.

Is R220 a 10k I removed the jumper amp the resistor fell off the board and can’t find it anywhere

It could be either a 100k or a 1M ohm.
