Inquiring minds want to know
With the proper operation of an AB amp, is 150-300mV DC offset spike during power on/ power off normal?
The driver, a woofer in this case, moves noticeably given the voltage spike
Could this harm the driver?
No sound is heard, just cone movement is seen

Power = Voltage * Voltage / Resistance
Power is expressed in watts, Voltage is in volts, Resistance is in ohms.
Plug in (Voltage = 0.3) and (Resistance = 4). How many watts does the loudspeaker dissipate? Try it again but use (Resistance = 8) instead. Worse? Better?

No, it's much too small to do harm.Could this harm the driver?
