Yes, that's the first time I have encountered the issue.

Edit... it seems Newbie status members might be able to post but not standard users.

The articles section was recently locked because any user could start a thread there, and that's not its purpose. It's a section for commissioned articles.
However it seems to have locked us out from replying to threads there, which was not the intent.

Sorry, I was asked to stop new users from starting threads there, and I assumed since these articles were so sold there was no current activity in terms of replies going on. I'll find another way to achieve the same result.

Some subject are timeless, so it seems.

Ok, it should be fixed now. No registered member of any level should now be able to start a new thread, but replied to existing threads are allowed.
