I found the stream on disappearing AM radios to be interesting. In the US "drive-time" talk radio is a very important medium for advertisers, some shows have nationwide audiences of 10 to 25 million listeners.
Here in the States, AM radio is quite localized with local and national news, sports-broadcasting, weather and traffic info. Unfortunately, with i-Heart radio now being the preferred means of listening in blue-tooth equipped cars, it is likely to get homogenized with little local reporting.
It's very invasive to ask forum registrants to list their birth-dates with all the internet identity theft going on.

Interesting, as radio has been my hobby since ~1955. Long enough to notice that technologies often are abandoned before they could have been perfected.
The birth date issue might have a simple explanation: congratulation by staff / moderator as many members are approaching an age where every year could be their last. Osvaldo might ask if that's the reason 😉.
