What amp to power my 1850s

I'm planning on building 2x 1850s loaded with fane colossus xs 18 primes 1200w rms. . Im looking for a reasonable amp to make them purr but I'm struggling to find anything. My first thought was the behringer nx6000d but I feel it's worth throwing in some extra cash and get something more solid.

I know people who do use use that horn with a bridged Crown XTI 4002 per cabinet and that works perfect. That is 2400w per driver so the amp will never saturate and burn the driver. They use those horns (4x) it in a big rave rig, often pushing it to the limit...

I have also been looking at the proline 3000.. How do you find it?
Very heavy and bullet-proof, used bridged into 8ohms. No experience of stereo or 4ohm loading. There are a couple on ebay (UK) at the moment; I have two of each - in use they seem to be very similar to each other. The Thomann amp is discontinued and I suspect that the IMG won't be around much longer either. As I'm sure you know, digital amps cannot output continuous high power at low frequencies (10kW in 1U, really?!) but they tell us that they're fine for 'real music' and I'm sure many will agree. Horses for courses really.

In my experience with older T-Line amps i know the psu saturated when driven hard so a lot of distortion and sagging (pumping sound). Many who used those in high power setups (mainly dubsoundsystems) on bass modded the amps with a SMPS that was way more capable than needed and then the amp shined and was very reliable. I hope they fixed that with the newer models like this one. I did not hear about mods at least (which is a good sign), but i'm not into high power soundsytems anymore for over a decade now so i may not be up to date...
