Hi, I don't have a J2 but a AJ, but my regret is using a 18volt even though its recommended size others seem to get better performance with a slightly higher voltage, I'm just recommending ask around for the various voltages others are using like ZM etc perhaps first

Unless someone local has extras on the shelf for a good price and no shipping, I would say the shielded Antek would be the FIRST resort. Plus Antek is quick with shipping. Good luck on the J2 project!

Thanks yes looks like Antek is the best bet and I actually carried my J2 amp modules from India and was using the amp for couple of years now with a 18vac 360VA pair of trafos in dual mono build. The same trafos I did use in my F7 dual mono build as well. I saw the recommended VA is around 300VA with 18vac secondary windings in case of dual mono build.

I have already ordered the huge 5U/400mm diyaudiostore chassis for a dual mono build and rolling my J2 and F7 amp 🙂
