Identify JBL cabinet

hello,

I can get empty JBL cabinets. But no stick or mark helping to identify model.

I would like to get original speakers specifications in order to find close replacement.

thanks.

@GM : with a pseudo like alte9440B, I already tryed to register to audio heritage !!! But validation system did not worked, and administrator mail returned "permanent error"
@Greg32 : thanks, this AC2215 model seems very close to mine ; Back dimension is around 18cm, height 64cm, large 50cm.

If it's the correct model, it use JBL M115-8A speaker. I have some 421-8LF lying on the shelf but it will not do the job. With my poor knowledge on acoustics, I have only the feeling that AC2215 volume is far from 816A;

Any advice on working device ?

Thanks

I wondered of course as I use a 9444SA/A 😉, but I never cease to be amazed with some folk's laziness and there's lots more diverse folks browsing the forums, so I try to post to the public at large.

Hmm, first time I've heard of this, but will scope it out as time permits. In the meantime, a lot of them plus many others follow the James B Lansing Audio Society (Altec Lansing & JBL) on FB and maybe why the Heritage isn't as 'open' as it used to be.

The cab in the picture is from a JBL AC2215. Good quality well made cab but mediocre drivers for the price ($1500 ea. new) - M115-8A LF and the exceptionally nasty little 2412 HF driver. The 15" woofer isn't half bad for a cheap stamped frame driver, but that garbage 2412 is just unacceptable.
