Omnimic 3 has been out for a while. Perhaps you purchased it a while ago and the return window closed or it was purchased on clearance?

at any rate, contact parts express. The sales page for Omnimic proclaims a No-hassle 60 return policy and if all is as you say, your purchase is not disqualified by anything in the fine print. From experience, Parts Express is very good about returns.
