I did near Christmas and I found it later in my spam file for some reason. He'd responded very promptly.
May I heartily recommend Mr Chua's "Lark SM" with the SB Acoustics SB16pfc and Vifa BC25 tweeter, a lovely sounding speaker.

It's really interesting to me as a non-designer how different the SM sounds compared to the original Lark: the modest changes to the cabinet and the revised crossover made a significant difference. I was able to compare the two designs as I made one of the SMs at a time. I repurposed the old cabinets for another project.
At the moment the SMs are in test boxes of the right size and configuration; proper cabinets will happen but I doubt whether my efforts will match the quality of the sound!

I did the Lark in 2017. Four years later in 2021, I decided to take another look at what I can do to improve it.
I ended up with the Lark-SM.
It's a much better design compared to the original Lark.
Same woofer, same tweeter but different approach in the crossover.
