Low Q mid in an infinite baffle?

Hi there,

My question is, can a dedicated mid range driver be used in an infinite baffle to good effect?

Specifically, I have a number of B&C 6PEV13.

And also, given I’d be wanting to cross them at about 300/400hz, what sort of dimensions would the baffle have to be to serve as ‘infinite’.

Do you mean open baffle? A mid driver mounted in a baffle which freely radiates to the rear ?
