Yes was my No.1 favourite when I was young (and still is). Not long ago I watched a film on Yes (then and now) with the members talking about the beginning and changes since then.
Yes were a big part of my late teens musical listening. Still like everything up to and including Tormato (though only just). Never saw them live.

I did - one time, with Jon Anderson even. That must've been 20 years ago now. Definitely my favorite band - along with Zappa - when I was a teen. RIP Alan.
