It's hardly surprising. In fact what IS surprising is that lateral MOSFETs are being produced at all, given that they have no benefits outside of audio work which is rapidly moving to Class D

that's why I've been buying all wrecks based on mos TO3 for years and generally all wrecks that contain quality transistors.
I missed with the tubes, I'm not going to miss with the transistors.
