Hi!
Does anyone know if the famous Woofer JBL 123A is still in production, or maybe an updated or more recent compareable model?

It's over 50 years old, TS parameters weren't even used in those years, so it's definitely not in production anymore, and if you want a current JBL woofer you'll get better specs, though forget about the alnico magnet, you couldn't use amps either. lots of power.....

As mentioned, the Alnico magnet JBL 123A (made in two different versions..) is not in production, but here are the TS parameters:
The latter ferrite magnet JBL 2213H (also out of production) had similar TS parameters.

JBL provided this data in 2009? Good find. 😳
It was the twoofer used in the L-100/4310.
I'm intrigued to know why the OP is looking for that speaker, perhaps to replace a permanently damaged one?

The 2213H is a nice driver in its original form, better than the alnico version. Most recone kits don't even come close to original spec.
In the late 70`s I had the pleasure of using a pair of L100 century, for a few weeks, and I loved the bass it produced and it looks damn good and sturdy too.JBL provided this data in 2009? Good find. 😳

If I was lucky to get two, I would use it for diy with some modern mids and tweeters
I think you could get a couple of L100's in good condition instead of experimenting.
And you can upgrade them....
