Sticky Faders - Silicone based lube recommendation

Hi, I have sticky faders on a Tapco 4400. Is it "safe" to use silicone based lubricants? What should I look out for? Should they be specific for electronics I think?

Spray or liquid. Use just a little at a time, until it's good.

I use DeoxIT fader cleaner. The stuff in the first link. It has worked well on many a fader that seen a hard life. Pretty standard in the pro audio world.
