Tonearm parts

Any tonearm DIYers out there? I'm looking to find where to get those small pivot points (usually with lock nuts) found in most gimble type tonearms. Other than sourcing from old arms, which may or may not be worn or damaged. I have few jewel bearings I would like to try. I don't know what other device would use them...gauges, clocks, medical instruments?

Yep, that's who I got the v-jewels from. They do not have SS pivot points mounted in a threaded assy. The only thing I can think of is to put the SS point in the rotating assy and and a v-jewel threaded assy in the stationary "arm". This is backwards from most tonearm pivot assemblies I've seen...not that it wouldn't work, but I all ready have "unmounted" v-jewels. They do offer custom assy's but $$$ and this is just a DIY attempt.

Any DIY machinist out there willing to mount SS points in a threaded assy ?
