Tapco 4400 US plug to UK plug

Hi! I have a Tapco 4400 with a 110V US plug and would like to follow the conversion from the service manual to convert it to a 240V EU/UK plug. The conversion is straightforward except for the fact that I have an additional jumper as highlighted here. I'm trying to follow the schematics but they aren't very clear.

Here is what I see, and it is just my notion, I make no claims that it is truth. I see eight square pads on that board. two vertical rows of four. The four on the right are the transformer primary. The left are secondary. On the left I see trace patterns for diodes in bridge., On the right I see it as two 120v windings. The top two squares are one winding and the bottom two squares are the other. Note in the 120v setting the two black jumpers would put the two primary windings in parallel. Number the square pads 1-2-3-4 top to bottom. 1-2 is one winding, and 3-4 the other. The two jumpers connect 1 to 3 and 2 to 4. Parallel.

Note in the 240v version there is one jumper connecting 2 to 3. Series.

I have no idea what the red jumper would be for.

In my view, the hand applied red "jumper" is not a jumper at all, it´s just a red felt pen trace highlighting where the mains cable is soldered to.

Fully agree with:

Hi! Thank you foe your comments and apologies for not attaching the schematics before. I actually just followed the instructions to change the jumpers on the dual voltage transformer and it worked as expected. The part which I highlited was listed in the assembly instructions then.

Thank you once again.
