I did a load of searches online but could not even find a picture for this speaker. Much less any feedback.
What are your thoughts about using this in a 3 Way DIY setup.
Where would you place this in terms of range ?. What cross over frequency would you design.
Im sorry Im a bit of noob here. But I assume passion to do some DIY will always be appreciated.
The only data I could find is this PDF attached.
Based on my limited knowledge this looks like a good speaker for a woofer.
Not sure how many watts RMS it can handle. As the PDF looks a bit flakey.

Thanks for the link. I see it says it needs 80 Ltr box thats kinda huge. I have downloaded a few speaker apps and plant to experiment and learn from others. This is a great forum.
Yes I am sure a 12"would sound better more Xmax better and there are better spec speakers out there. But these are economical. Finding something in this price range may be hard in my country. I notice over the past year or two speaker prices have shot up.
I am also looking at the 12" Sony Xplod Woofers as they seem to economical but need a heavy duty amp to drive them. My budget is about 80$ per woofer. For a 12" and I don't live in the USA. In fact anybody from India know of good place to buy speakers pls let me know. All the old shops have shut down in Bangalore.

I found this in a similar price range how would it stack up against the peerless. I like the fact that it has a larger voice coil. Even if it does not go down as low in the range as the peerless.

I've posted an answer yesterday, but strangely it doesn't appear anymore, so here goes again.
The Peerless S20NI is a woofer, but it is not a good woofer as it has a mere 1.4 mm of x-max. This means that in an appropriate box (70-75L tuned to 30-35Hz), it goes out of excursion at less than 2W.
