Yes.I asked for help there too.Igot reply "
Please don't post in a repair thread that was started by someone else unless you are trying to help them.
Start a new thread if you need help with the repair of this amp."
So what am I supposed do?

Start your own thread asking for help. It keeps the threads clean and useful for people who find the threads via a search engine. Threads with multiple people asking for help become useless.

So having asked I have to say you did nothing wrong. The forum software prompts and asks if a topic is already under discussion while listing any such threads that may be relevant. The thread you posted to was relevant in this instance.
Perry runs a tight ship in the Car Audio section 👍 (credit where credit is due) and I understand the reasons for keeping technical discussions separate and clear... but this was just a request for a manual.

It is possibly a judgement call. I can absolutely understand keeping complex technical threads separate for the sake of clarity but we must always bear in mind it is not against forum rules for anyone to post to a thread and in fact the forum software is set up to actively prompt people to do just that if an existing thread is relevant.
We can always think of different things after the event, perhaps a 'there is a manual available here... but if you need further technical assistance please start a new thread detailing your specific issue' might be a better fit, however no rules were broken in what @Wikuszka posted.
