Have a pair of these on their way and I'm trying to find a good bookshelf sized enclosure for them.
I've found a bunch of plans for the Alpair 7.3, but not so much the P7.2HD.
Anyways, any recommendations?
Baby Labs? Mini Onken? Plain BR?

I am currently starting work on a set of miniOnken for the P7HD. Currently doing a QuasiCGR, but need at least one more beta tester for trapezoidal or rectangular Plu-Ken. They are the same as the A7.3 Mar-Kens but for the detail.

Which bookshelf sized enclosure would you say gets the most low end out of these drivers?
This will be my first proper full range driver system. Only done multi-ways and WAV's previously.
Trapezoidal will be a bit too complex for me.
miniOnken go only as low as they go. If one pushes the alignment one can go lower but at a bit of sacrifice of elegance & tunefulness.
But don’t be tempted topush too low, you will sacrifice quality. To get max bass one needs something like a Pensil or Frugel-Horn.
WAV supposed to be WAW?

How would you rate mini onken vs regular ported? What about the mini TL (baby labs)?
Yeah, meant WAW 😅
Yeah, meant WAW 😅
I expect you could use it as a woofer in a WAW. But together in harmony, i would think them too different.

I was thinking more about the enclosure designs out there for the Pluvia 7.I expect you could use it as a woofer in a WAW. But together in harmony, i would think them too different.

Will they work with the Pluvia 7.2 HD? They aren't that far apart TS wise.
hi - are the plans for the P7HD CGR out yet? would be keen to attempt a build.I am currently starting work on a set of miniOnken for the P7HD. Yes please. If there was a smaller cgr plan i'd get on to making it straight away. Drivers and ply are ready to go
Not bookshelf sized, but P7HDs work very well in the EL70 Microtower cabinets.

So other EL70 tunings should work.

Not quite. An ML-TL is more tolerant than a reflex. EL70 CGR is 13 litre, the P7HD one will be 11 litres.
