Home made tube socket

I make Compactron sockets (for the 6FJ7) from small discs of teflon.
Just like the current/cheap teflon Noval sockets: 2 discs with corresponding 12 holes. 1 disc with smaller holes; 1 disc with larger holes.
And from those commercial Noval sockets i use those pins....fit perfectly.
From a commercial Octal socket i use the clamp.

Yes this will take time; but they outperform standard Compactron sockets hands down as most commercial Compactrons are wobbly...

Regards, Reinout
