Hypex FA501 or miniDSP with stereo amp for a dipole sub?

Hi I am about to build some dipole subs for my Magnepan 3.7i.
Going to use two SB34NRX75 in a U frame per side.

Should I use miniDSP 2x4 HD with a stereo amp or buy the Hypex FA501.
I like the Hypex FA501 because it has high level input and everything is in one packages.

But again, how easy is it to program?

What would you recommend?

Alternatively you could spring for the miniDSP SHD Power.

I have a great deal of experience with the Hypex FusionAmps. They sound great, and build quality is good. But - programming is somewhat quirky. The people that made the Hypex Filter Design software deserve a smack on the head in my opinion. In comparison - the remote software for Behringer DCX2496 that was made in 2003 is still way easier to use.....

You need to use DSP on your maggies to cross over to the sub, so a MiniDsp is the solution for you, I think. You can't do that with the Hypex FusioAmp unless you buy a FA502 and power the maggies with that.

Cheaper, more flexible and easier to use. Sound quality is unfortunately not the DCX’s strong point …

Has anyone seen distortion FFT measurements on MiniDSP FLEX Eight and "during processing"?
All miniDSP or similar DSP measurements is done during bypass mode. Someone should do some testing during EQ and Phase correction.... right?

The only test I've come across is on audiosciencereview. Maybe that will help you?

ASR has only done "pass trough" measurements and never with the DSP actually crunching numbers..
I think both is relevant.
