To my understanding in this truck the (3) 3 1/2" dash speakers are wired in parallel with the front 6x9s in the door, I have the Alpine ilx-w650 receiver 6x9s in the rear doors all speakers are MB QUART and I have the alpine BBX-F1200 4ch amp. The front door speakers sound like crap and so do the dash speakers I was told to use bass blockers where would I put them and what will this do. Please advise
The front speakers (door and dash) are wired in parallel presenting a nominal impedance of 2 ohms.
The bass blocker would be wired in series on the positive wire between the front door speaker and the 3 1/2" dash speaker.
It would allow the door speaker to reproduce lower frequencies than the 3 1/2" dash speaker. The bass blocker is a high pass passive crossover for the 3 1/2" dash speaker.
I am running a 9 channel set-up in the same type of truck. Give me a day or so and I will reply back with my crossover settings for each speaker to give you a starting point.

The separates should have passive crossovers. Do yours?
Set the high-pass crossover on the amp to about 200hz. Does that help?
