Hi all. I diy’d 4 speaker boxes before but currently living in Hong Kong, it is near impossible to do it at home.
I stumbled upon IWISTAO speaker cabinets on Alixpress. Many look impressive at first sight but I wonder how they were designed and for which speaker. However they also offer the official Fostex enclosure for the FE126E for a nice price, which I could conceivably use with the current FE126NV.
I wonder if anyone has experience with this brand and ideally with this box. I can imagine that the Frugelhorn is better but this is much more realistic for me.

FF125wk in this box. Make the vent 8.2cm. The rebate with the rifgt size isn’t right size.
The Alpair 7ms (13.6) is closer in the on ewith the big round rebate. It is just a bit shy, or the one with the smaller dimaeter and use a thick gasket to “surface mount the driver. If you do that same, P7HD (13.6)

Don't you have carpentery workshops who can build it for you over there? I Know people in Singapore who did it that way (as their flat is also very mini) and so build a custom design. It may cost a bit more than a flatpack, but if you choose the right design it will be aligned like it should.
It's an interesting one; I've asked people in HK about this before (including those in industry, as well as DIY) both on-line and when I was over there a few years back, and in every case, it all falls silent. It seems rather odd that such an impressive city doesn't have at least one CNC shop willing to take small commissions, or at least some custom carpentry shops / furniture makers (likewise) but given the lack of response I've had in the past, I assume that is in fact the case. Go figure.

You can quite easily find audio components for diy but indeed I am not aware of a local cnc / cutting service for diy. Custom Furniture (which is popular here) is actually made in Shenzhen area, across the border. I could probably ask one of the Alixpress cabinet vendors to make a bespoke cabinet.

so the conclusion is that Iwistao cabinets leave much to wont? with their pricing it really made me wonder. what made me think there was a bad smell is how some of their adds appear use one cabinet size yet offer to cut the speaker hole for different sizes of speaker. not all of them offer that, mind you, so perhaps there is something worthy of consideration?
