Upper frequency rolloff for 20hz bass horn?

About a decade of operation is possible (20-200Hz), though probably would not want to use it higher than 100 Hz.
How much of the low end would one have to sacrifice to operate effectively up to 200 hz? Would be nice to get as much as possible out of the sub horn to make the low/mid horn a more manageable size. Also don't want to put huge objects in the path of the sub horn. Not sure just how much distortion that would cause.

I'm no horn expert but here is something to think about:
Very low frequencies don't mind about objects on their way since wavelengths are veery long but wavelength near the crossover frequency usually are about the same size relative to the smaller horn you intend to crossover to no matter what the frequency is and interact with the object similarly. If it is 100Hz horn its size is similar in relation to 100Hz wavelength than if it was 200Hz horn and its relative size to 200Hz wavelength so there would be "equal amount of problem" at crossover no matter the crossover frequency. There might be difference at which frequency hearing system thinks there is problem or not, though.

If you think it through there is no way you can position multiple horns next to each other or inside each other so that they wouldn't have any acoustic issues with each other / as a system. Only way to achieve this is the multiple entry horn, multiple transducers outputting into single horn and even that would have some issues with diffraction on the taps. That said, just pick your poison and live with it 🙂

edit. evolving the thought experiment more bass horns would never make sense at home use since the main advantage is more SPL capability, which really is not needed at home. Conversely, tweeter horn (or waveguide) makes most sense, it takes the small transducer and makes it big physically so that the next way lower in frequency can be small in relation to wavelength at crossover while still big enough to have enough SPL capability at home. This is just thinking with "acoustic issues" by wavelength. But, as it is a hobby what ever makes one feel happy and fun time then only that matters.
