I want to run a quad of EML 520b in push pull clAss AB1; what input/driver tube would be ideal? A 12ax7, or 6sn7?’ Could I B use a 12b or 20b?
And could a pair of 5965 work as phase inverters? Or a pair of B 6sn7 ? I prefer lower power consumption, so i’d like maybe 5751, or Maybe a pair of 12at 7 , or e80cc? Any suggestions ?

Why not read datasheet?

EML520b requires grid swing is in 180..210Vpp range.
Usually it's not two stage amplifier territory, so VAS (voltage amplifier stage), driver+phase splitter (tube or transformer), power stage topology is necessary.

Im grying to learn tube dara sheets; can you give me an example oof a driver and phase inverter that would work? How about 12ax7 and 5965 as phase invertrWhy not read datasheet?

I have used this (Williamson-style) amplifier/phase splitter/amplifier circuit for driving 6AS7G PP output stage.
It can provide more than 250 Vpp clean signal with given 375 V supply voltage.
