You might want to get a 54-185 as a replacement instead of another 54-77.

Thanks for the link; interesting read. My PS-4 has served me well in stock form for going on 25 years....guitar amp design/repair, tube 'pedal' effect design, cap reforming etc. often long hours continuous use. 6X4 developed a H-K short and smoked the 54-77. Looking like time for a recap and general go-over if I can source replacement iron .
Back to using my Lambda model 28 in the interim; kinda miss the extra 75VDC though.

Sorry, don't have either a 54-77 nor a 54-185, just the information from Google I found that I thought would be helpful.
