I have replaced a pair of RCA clear top 6CG7 with shield with a pair of 1964 6N6P with gold coils, not round spaceship but square getters. They are to me they sound better better than 6N30 DR. or 6N2P I 's
The valves have in gold print a flattened diamond logo 2 factories used this style of logo Foton & Reflector opinions as to which factory made them differ on the internet does anyone have a definitive answer as to where they were made please .

Thank you for looking I knew they were 6N6P as you say but are they FOTON factory or REFLECTOR factory made both used a similar logo at various timesAs you said in your initial posting, 6N6P.

I think they are Foton. None of my 6N6P from Reflektor have a square getter, they all have a saucer.

kodabmx thank you on a couple of sites in the USA they are described as Reflector I thought probably Foton but not sure like you I also have 6N6P's made in Nevez the 2 in use are my only square getters I have including 6N1P,6N23P,6N2P EV & ER + OC(OS) from several factories'

Most of mine seem to be Reflektor, Novosibirsk, Voshod, or Ulyanov... Or Svetlana for some sweep tubes and rectifiers... All seem to work as they should, but some 6N6P last longer than others... (I run them 125V, 30mA) I've had some just run out of current, and others that used up their getter. Still, I run them 24/7 and they last usually more than a year.
