AMT based + buffer Preamp

Hi,

I want try to build a clean two channel's rack preamp based on AMT SS-11, but using ecc82 as a output stage buffer, instead a jfet like the original. Anybody can help me if I do something wrong? or avoid something?

12AU7 cathode follower biased to zero on the grid will distort significantly at a few volts signal. We'd normally bias a CF part-way up the supply voltage.

And if I use the same arrangement of some Fender amps? With another ecc83 coupled directly?
