Sure, it's a great basic DSO. I have a 54602B myself. Wouldn't pay more than $100 for it simply due to it's age - they are about 30 years old.

Be sure to get the factory pair of x10 probes with it.
For tube circuits, you'd definitely need a pair of x100 probes.
