A friend of me have purchased this devices in used and no working condition.
He have heard, that this defect was a typical bug, which occurs at most devices of this series after using several years.
Are there experiences about which component on the processor board represents the weak point and is causing the error ?
Thank you very much for an advice.

There was a point when manufacturers start using soldering with no Pb. The problems appeared a few years later: in devices (including laptops, receivers) that have chips that heat up and have soldering under the chip (Soldered Balls), the soldering started to crack in time (the alloy without Pb did not have the same properties as the one with). One solution was to reheat the chip, the soldering will melt and work for a while until it would crack again. A better solution was reballing where the soldering is usually replaced with a Pb soldering alloy so the problem would not reappear in time.
If your receivers have this problem then most likely is the DSP chip. Some people have reported success (temporary bringing it back to life) by heating the DSP chip with a hairdryer (search youtube for "Onkyo hair dryer"). Careful, without temperature control, too much heat can destroy the chip or the surrounding components.
Some receivers had a "Direct" mode that would bypass the DSP for analog sources and they could be used (have sound) in that mode.

Otherwise it's easier.
There is a support campaign for this generation at onkyo, so just go to their site, enter the serial number, wait for the answer, if it is positive, you will receive an ups box and a repair order, a carrier picks up the device and brings it back to you two weeks later.
It's fixed in Germany.

https://www.strata-gee.com/voxx-finally-speaks-we-have-an-agreement-to-purchase-only-onkyo/there is to read this:
Well after much coverage on the VOXX/Onkyo deal by Strata-gee, in which VOXX remained strangely silent, the company finally issued a press release today in which they acknowledged that they had signed an asset purchase agreement (APA) with Onkyo for $30.8 million. The deal remains subject to approval by Onkyo shareholders in a vote scheduled to take place on June 25, 2021.
