WARNING: Tube/Valve amplifiers use potentially LETHAL HIGH VOLTAGES.
Building, troubleshooting and testing of these amplifiers should only be
performed by someone who is thoroughly familiar with
the safety precautions around high voltages.
I looked through my 6N1 tubes the other day, and noticed that a couple of them are designated 6N1-M and that they seem to be of a different construction. Do anyone know what the difference might be and if they are interchangeable?
They look more robust like ussr 6n1p vs 6n1p-ev I would not concern much about differences electrically speaking, china used to buy and source lots of tech and ideas from russians
