Tropicalising PCBs

Hi Guys,

I'm got a gainclone pending final assembly when I'm done with the chassis work.

I'm thinking of tropicalising the PCBs.

Are there any disadvantages to or reasons not to apply a conformal coating to my pcbs?

Your board must be really clean and dry before coating. Hard to do with the safety restrictions we have on solvents these days. I only coat boards going outdoors in Malaysia, which is as tropical as you can get
