For those of us in Australia, paying postage from partsexpress is getting ridiculous, e.g. I would like to consider getting a couple of RSS460HO plus RSS460PR, but the shipping adds over 50%.
Where are Australians buying good value-for-money, yet heavy, parts?

Yeah. They're about $100 cheaper for buying one, it's a similar situation with these guys and I think you can even get one from Amazon for about that price.
Wagner's don't have the PRs, but now indecision strikes... I do rather like the sound of sealed subs. The RSS460HO has about 4dB more sensitivity than a UM18-22 but rolls off pretty high in a sealed box. With EQ, they'd both top out at about 110dB at 20Hz in half-space.
More over-analysis and procrastination required... I better finish a couple other projects first.

I have just ordered 2 x RSS390HE-22 (new Dayton Audio driver to make 2 x subwoofers ) from Wes components (work has an account) and plan to use these with a single low tuned (17hz) RSS460-PR in a cabinet about 180 - 200 litres.

WES is the wholesale/B2B arm.
Wagner is the retail arm.
Loudspeakerkit.com is also subsidiary of WES.
kind of like Jaycar and Electus.
Electus if you know you’re doing and can order without seeing.
Jaycar if you need customer service/support/returns/exchanges/refunds.
anyway Wagner are very friendly; you can put an deposit/order down and they can procure many parts from Parts Express/Dayton Audio.
One time I asked about a part that I couldn’t find in their online catalogue- well Turns out it’s been there all along- they just forget to put it online!
It’s the fantastic RSS315HFA-8
So now it’s online.
win-win!

You dont need to have an ABN to buy from WES, I get all my gear from them just sign up for an account... no different than most online shops
Thankyou for this thread, @tktran303 too for that clarification. I didnt realise I could go through Wagner for a partsexpress order. Having been umming and ahhing about a dual sub build and running into stupid shipping prices myself. I also found some reasonable pricing (for ausralia) at crossfader.com.au for some smaller drivers and they have a small but reasonable range. Just another option.
Hey Guys, another local option to consider here in Australia, check out www.lionaudio.com.au
A small business importing speakers directly from China, the brand is well known and seems well respected. It’s worth checking out.

Interesting, but it's all white-label. Not much cheaper than Wagner for the most part either.
