1.5uF 650V Aerovox capacitor

I have a U-Test-M tube tester Model #2400B that went on the fritz yesterday. It has an Aerovox P150F591 1.5uF 650VAC 600V 6531 capacitor. It is polarized. Would This Capacitor be a suitable replacement. Attached is a picture of my faulty unit. Thanks

Edit: correct model and #

That cap might do,it depends what the faulty cap was doing. Was it a decoupling cap or part of the power supply? It's doubtfull your tube tester HT/B+ goes anywhere as high as 600v, you might get away with a lower voltage rating, EG a 1u 250v electrolytic might do, depends on where it is in the circuit etc.

Andy.

I haven't found a schematic. I'm still looking on the web. Attached is a picture of where it is in the circuit. It connects to the red and white wires.

The .95 uF - 1.1 uF 2100V are readily available on Amazon -20% tolerance would be 1.2 uF. Back then the tolerance might have been more?

Edit: Air conditioner capacitors of 5uF and 370V are common at the hardware store.

I installed This 1.1uF Microwave Capacitor in because I could get it quickly with free shipping and it's relatively the same size. It functions. I tested 2 known good tubes and they tested good. I tested 3 questionable tubes and they failed. Do you think I should leave it? I'm undecided because it fits real nice. On one hand it's not the exact specs, on the other, does it have to be? I could get the other one next time I order parts if I need to. Thanks

Off topic: is it uF or uf? I've seen both.
