Hello to all
I have the Gamut D200 ( and the preamplifier of the same series ) for quite some years now. Last year a problem with home electricity damaged the Mosfets of one channel. The amplifier is at the repair man (the former dealer) but we cannot source new original Mosfets. Anybody can help? (there are a lot of equivalent counterfeit parts out there but i dont want to risk exposing my precious amplifier to them
Part number is

APT20M19JVR and made by advanced power technology and i have pictures to compare
Thanks in advance for all helpThey are obsolete, thus making them hard to source, and prone to counterfeit...
Have you done a parametric search on one of the big online parts store, to find some replacement?

You could try Ixys. The don't seem to go below 500 V in the TO-227 package whereas the device you are looking for is 200V at c. 115A. I have worked with them in the dim distant past - their products are high quality so you wont have any issues there. Probably best to replace all 4 devices in both channels if you go down this route.

Have you spoken to Gamut? What do they say? Can they recommend a replacement part?

Be aware crossing equivalent parts becuase Gamut used not similar bias technique, please call to factory first.
Gamut do not reply. I have found that APT have been acquired by Microsemi so maybe i can find now the Mosfets under the Microsemi logo . Still trying. I am not doing the repair, a specialist does . I ll tell him your proposition. ThanksYou could try Ixys. The don't seem to go below 500 V in the TO-227 package whereas the device you are looking for is 200V at c. 115A.
