I have an opportunity to buy these drivers. I don't get to inspect or listen to them in person as they are far away from where I live.
Does anybody know them? What can you tell me about their sound quality and if you can give an approximate value that would be greatly appreciated.
I assume they are high efficiency but the 5 ohm impedance has me wondering if maybe they aren't that efficient (unless it's an easy flat curve)
Are they a nice vintage full ranger?
They seem to be pretty rare. All I can find is this from the Klangfilm.org website:

Klangfilm was just like Telefunken an jount venture between Siemens and AEG, in this case to make cinema equipment. These are very typical old wideband drivers, so no real bass or high treble. They are from the 1930's so probally alnico magnets that lost most of their power. If you can't inspect and test them i would not bother to buy this almost a century old driver.
That's more or less what many say about wideband drivers in general. 🙂
But aren't some of these vintage drivers valued for the quality of midrange tones they deliver? One can always combine with a LF driver and HF driver.
Isn't it certain voice coil designs and woofers that are susceptible to some de-gaussing? That then goes to the next point.
That is certainly a fair point. But sometimes with such items it might be necessary to take a chance if the chances are good for a rewarding outcome. That's why I posted, to seek as much information as possible in order to assess the chances.
