I just wanted to post some test results of the 2SK170's I purchased from this listing in case anyone was considering them.
I took 10 random samples from 100 total units. Using Erno Borberly's test circuit shown on the bottom right of the first image I tested for IDSS and Vp (VGS).
At +10 vdc and -10vdc I got:
(Sample # ) -Vp / IDSS mA
(1) .477 / 7.05
(2) .564 / 8.85
(3) .543 / 9.15
(4) .511 / 8.23
(5) .514 / 7.80
(6) .458 / 7.07
(7) .453 / 7.04
(8) .493 / 8.43
