Hello everyone, sorry for my English, translated by google ... I have a strange problem, after having done the recap of the servo card, when I turn on the player the CD starts to turn, the red laser LED is on steady and the LEDs of the tracks turn on to scan as if the player were in Service mode. All the voltages are present, I know it is a problem with the microcontroller, what do you think? Thanks for your interventions. Paolo
Was it working before your servo re-cap work ?
(I’m presuming you mean the five 33uf caps?)
Have you also done the main power supply recap?

Hi thanks for the reply. It worked before, I replaced the 6 33mf capacitors. with others from 47mf, could it have created a problem? then I replaced the 1mf one. 63v. near the processor. Now the display turns on after a few seconds later than before ..., then the cd starts spinning and the red laser led turns on. The capacitors and regulators on the power board I had replaced some time ago, everything was fine. do you think i should put back 33mf capacitors.? Paolo.
You need to replace like-for-like
Also check for polarity , you could have damaged the flexi on the laser also , could also have damaged tracks/print when you reworked.
But you need to put the original value caps in.
Go back over your work

Tomorrow morning I'll mount 33mf capacitors. and double-check everything ..., it seems that I have mounted a 47mf capacitor. on the microprocessor power supply line can disturb it. Thanks, I update you. Paolo.
Re-fitted 33uF capacitors, everything started working again. Probably the increase in capacity made the Mab8440p d011 arrive some signal late, or the Micro woke up late. Can anyone explain it to me? Thanks Paolo.
It is not that uncommon an issue:
CD614 servo problem
The sequencing of rails is sometimes very important.
