Hello.
I have bought a pair of Dali Skyline for restoration, but there is almost any info over there.
Cabs are in quite good shape, as well as crossovers that seems to be in good and original condition , but fuse protection for ribbons are lost.
Tweeters seems to be well. The ribbons must be tensioned
Midranges looks well
Woofers needs surround replacement. Searching on the web I have found that those are 12" Cerwin Vega XL12S although they should have some mods.
They meazsure 3,1 Ohm and 1,1 mH
I would really appreciate any info about these speakers: Parts, replacement parts (I'm in doubt if woofers are working good), tips, mods... whatever info I can get would be really nice.

Greets!
Wasn't aware of these!
Well, a Google search ['Googling' 😉] got me what little there apparently is available on the Skyline plus I know there's a CV forum that maybe of some help with any tweaks: Cerwin-Vega-Fans.com Forums •
Parts wise, all I found that was still available are these replacement surrounds: Cerwin Vega XL-12S, XL-12D Speaker Foam Surround Repair Kit - 2CV12-26 | eBay
Anyway, good luck with it! 😀

Thanks for your answer.
Dali support told me these were the drivers installed:
Woofer Cerwin Vega W12-4
Midrange Vifa C17MG05-08.
However they are very old and there are no replacement units
I had already been at Cerwin Vega Fans forum and there is nothing about the woofer
This is not going to be easy

It is a shame they do not supply spare surrounds only 30 years after sale.
By the way the ribbons have been floating "loose" from the beginning.

Hi Raelman
Whet do you need to restore?
Surround for the CV's are not that difficult, and just go for the surrounds which are available
Refoaming a Cerwin Vega 12 inch woofer – SensibleAudio
With todays DSP and class d amps I'm sure you will be able to make the bass section work quite well.
Even after 30 years I would guess the mids should be ok as well. But you'll need to check surrounds on these as well .... do they have foam surrounds / rubber / cloth?
The tweeter is a fairly loose hanging ribbon. Be carefull not to tension too much.
Pictures?

Overall they look in good condition.
Re-foaming the woofers is not difficult. Take a loo at my link. You need to take off the dust cap to insert some spacers while you glue the foam surround in place, otherwise you will not be able to center it right.
I would for sure also take the mids out and have a close look at the condition.
And yes the tweeter seem to have been pushed somehow.
I would consider to take the ribbon fully out and corrugate it again instead of just tightening it .... but you'll need to find something to to use for the corrugation that matches the current shape .... so not all over but shaping it up ..
Super cool project .... I'm sure you'll end up with really high end sound 😉

Woofers has been refoamed. Midranges looks to be Ok and tweeter ribbon has been tightened.
Crossover components has been checked and measures ok, althoug coils cannot be compared to original values because they are not printed.
It seems that wires to speakers has been changed. Brown wires and black ones from tweeter looks to be "Electrical" wires:
H07V-K 2,5mm2 for woofer and H05V-K 0,75mm2 for tweeter DEMKO HAR NXT brand both of them.
Midrange has twisted wires without any brand.

NKT (not NXT) is a good old danish cabel company. These would be the original (I think) 🙂
The twisted thing for the mid ... anyones guess ....
