Anyone have experience buying direct from erse audio's site? On my current build that will cut the crossover costs in half from what I've priced elsewhere.
Product quality? 10W resistors, PulseX capacitors, 18ga EQ-Perfect Lay inductors.
thanks for any input.

I've bought a number of SuperQ coils from them over the years, and have been very happy with the product and the service. I tried to buy some more a few months ago and was told that they are suffering acute shortages of formers and won't have them anytime soon. I'd call befor buying.

I purchased 20mH inductors and 300uF caps a few years ago directly from Erse for my Elsinore project and have been very pleased with their performance. As I recall, shipping was a little slower than other suppliers but not enough to cause any problems, and the fact that Erse offered the products at all (20mH inductors and bipolar 300uF caps are a little tough to source) was remarkable.
Everyone is running slower because of the pandemic. I'd buy from Erse again without a second thought.
Regards,
Scott

After not getting any replies from Erse to my questions about items listed as back ordered; I decided, against my better judgement, to go ahead and place an order.
I took the time to find only parts that were not on back order so there wouldn't be any issues.
To get in stock items I ordered more expensive inductors where I had to and combined capacitor values if needed to get in stock ones. I found everything I needed and submitted the order.
Then this morning I get an email stating that my order has been cancelled.
They didn't give any reason for the cancellation and the address it was sent from is a no-reply address. Just a one line "Please note that your order has been cancelled".

Any news on your order? Have you gotten your money back? After not getting any replies from Erse to my questions about items listed as back ordered; I decided, against my better judgement, to go ahead and place an order.

I placed an order a couple days ago on the Erse Audio site (unfortunately before I knew about this thread), but today I got an email from sales@erseaudio.com saying it has been canceled.
Again no explainations for the cancellation, no mentions of a refund, nothing.
I just contacted them through the contact form on their site, but I'm afraid they won't reply at all.
Now I'm worried about not even getting my money back.
Please let me know, cheers
I placed order with Erse a few days ago on items that showed they were in stock but like others I received a cancellation today. I guess there inventory might not be up to date?
I recently placed an order with Erse as I had heard good things about their products. Living in Tasmania, I place quite a lot of orders via the Internet and usually get great service. Not this time! First of all, their terms and conditions say they accept PayPal, but when it came to check out, this option was not given. So, I reluctantly used a credit card number and palced an order. Within 24 hours I got the same message as other posters: "Please note that your order number 120-3400**** has been canceled". I immediately replied back to that "sales@" address asking for more information but did not hear anything further. I thought about it for a couple of days and thought that maybe I had omitted some detail or other the ordering process seems very highly automated by Netsuite) and re-placed the order VERY CAREFULLY but the same thing happened again. Meantime, I noted that my credit card had been provisionally been charged twice(!) as "pending" but equally mysteriously both charges we never confirmed and it appears they will not be included in my next statement.
It's really frustrating as the Erse capacitors were the only ones I could find anywhere with the correct ratings (6, 10 and 18 uF) but more importantly the correct size to fit my Quad L-Lite satellite speaker. I'd appreciate any information as to what might be happening to our orders! Are they aware that they are losing orders in this way?

People will find it impossible to order anything Erse.
I have heard from reliable sources that very sadly the owner of Erse has passed away.
It is now in the hands of his wife.
Nobody seems to know if they will continue or close shop.
That is the extent of my information.
My respect and condolences to them.

Thanks for the sad news, UA. I had thought that Erse was a fairly large company, not a small family concern. My condolences to the family. I shall watch the website to see if there are any developments.
Cheers.
Cheers.
