The data sheet says: do not connect the three dummy terminals
with the astericks, under the Notes section.
There is a large chart to show which terminals are no-connection dummy terminals.
But the terminal layout is different for the different diameter capacitors.
The larger diameter capacitor has only one dummy terminal.
The smaller diameter capacitor has three dummy terminals.

were ?? i do not see it ......the data sheet for 50mm dia. says "use Dummy terminal for mechanical support" and the dummy terminal is "B"

yes rayma i know, but this is not the question.. the 382LX153M100B062VS is 50mm dia.
So the question is
Would like to know if this cap will work better, if i connect both terminals with for "-" "A" is "input" and "-" is "output", and the same for the "+" with "C" is "input" and "D" is "output".
Thank

Either way is allowed, but there should be lower noise when using separate input and output terminals,
due to less ohmic coupling between the two paths.
