Genuine Elna?

Hi,

Are these genuine Elna caps? The printing looks suspicious and I can’t really identify what cap line of Elna this is.. The seller describes them as “Elna S Gold”.. Thanks!

Have a look at Elna's product line.

Be wary of the adverts though;
Elna RFS (SILMIC II) Miniature Capacitors for Audio

Elna RFS (SILMIC II) Miniature High-Grade Capacitors for Audio use silk fibers for foil separation instead of paper. By using silk fibers and the fiber's pliability, the RFS (SILMIC II) Series offer high-grade superior acoustic sound for audio design. The RFS Capacitors can be used to relieve the music's harmonic vibration, increase the purity of the sound at high frequency, decrease muddy sound at the middle frequency, and increase high energy bass sound at low frequency.
Most of the above statement is bull sh1t.

Elna RFS Silmic II sound OK. Original ones can be bought blindly as they perform as they should. However I don't see what Silmic II has to do with the type fred76 posts... as these are 105 degrees rated caps. Silmic II are 85 degrees rated and "for audio"...

As usual one should buy parts from official distributors. Very good deals on Ebay are eh... often not so good deals with many fakes around. The ones on the picture look suspicious as well.
