Relays K1 & K2 must operate together. Removing just one supply + or - could put the opposite supply on to the output.
The monostable Q12 with Q30 ensures that both relays wiil be operated together : when both transistors are saturated together, the relays are supplied. Correct ? what are you thinking about ?

The monostable realized by Q12 and Q30 ensures that both relays are activated together : both transistors are saturated in the same time and the protection will so be symmetric, + an - together.
When I end the board and try the measurement of distortion and noise, i will post the results.
