SCA-35
SCA-35 is a really nice unit. Integrated tube pre + tube amp. Well worth full restoration. My father gave me the kit one Christmas.. think I was 12. Best present ever. I would never part with mine; but having restored mine 2 years ago (53 yrs later) I could impart some of the issues, lessons learned, information acquired and contacts for parts, modification suggestions, etc.
Sure you have hit most of the common bases; but don't hesitate to ask if I can help suggest some things. I strove to keep mine very close to stock. Luck had it that I had acquired a full replacement tube set mid '70s. HiFiEngine.com has original assy manual & schematics
The biggest issue I had was the condition of the 60yr old printed circuit boards, they were the 'weakest link'. I ended up replacing half of them; if I had it do over again the 'path of least resistance' would of been to replace them all considering the time spent repairing the ones I could. They were too fragile to replace components without lifting traces. see: tronola.com/html/daves_store.html

I'm interested. I'll contact you via PM. Thank you!
Jon
I have a pair of original output transformers, with the secondary leads replaced with teflon wire. I also have have some "odds and ends" parts, including some chassis parts, and a faceplate that's only in "fair" condition, with some of the markings being worn. I'm located in central PA. If you are interested, and have specific needs, send me a PM and I'll see what I have.
