In remembrance of course. It's going to be a sombre sequence of events. Serious reflection in the near future likely.
Just lots of songs on Youtube, cause I'm on the comp. working. This weekend I'll probably play some records, I have lots.🙂

What else but their debut album (UK edition, 1964) entitled 'The Rolling Stones'?
A moment of nostalgia as my period Garrard turntable breathes fire into this masterpiece of the early 60s British blues boom.
Route 66, I'm a King Bee, Carol, I Just Want to Make Love to You, Walking the Dog - need I add more! 😎

Exile on Main Street(CD), Between the Buttons, and "The Rolling Stones, England's newest hitmakers" on Vinyl. Waiting on a friend has always been a favourite of mine, too. Don't know how to classify it : music from the early seventies, words from Tattoo you era.
My Stones Exile On Main St. and It's Only Rock'N Roll Japan MQA-CD x UHQCD high res just arrived. I played them both on my Oppo UDP205. Excellent.
Tattoo You on now. 🙂

Tattoo You is the other Stones album I have on vinyl.
I bought it at the time of its release in 1981 on the strength of having heard its opening song Start Me Up on the radio.
I didn't find the other tracks quite as infectious, so it's an LP I played little.
Coincidently, it has been on my mind lately to give it a spin. The time is ripe for a reappraisal!
