Watching Youtube last night, suddenly one channel dropped out. I though 'that's odd', 'specially because it was a recording studio vid, so they were unlikely to stuff up the audio.
Looked down to see our kitten happily munching on my audio cables...

When I was a kid the cat would bike the joystick cables and end your gaming fairly quick.
We resorted to wrapping the cables with plastic that may be thick and chewy enough to save the cable.

I read that cats can find the oral sensation of chewing on cables pleasant. Kittens in particular can chew cables as part of their exploratory development.

However, this presents a choking hazard or even, dare I say, the possibility of electrocution. 😱
