Great AB Amp

Hi,
I have only experience with Class A Amps (Pass XA25, Aleph J, Bba-3…) to drive my Magnepan 1.7i.
Best match is the XA25.

In summer time, the heat development is heavy in my listening room.
I am interested to build a high class ab amp and hope I will get some input here.
First candidates I found:
- Pass AB100
- SymAsym

Any comment or tips?

The FC100 looks great, but no pcbs or gerbers available🙁

Both post #3 and #4 are very fine design's.
Considering your speakers (4ohm), I would think the FC100 would be a better choice.

With your PCB design skills, making a PCB for the FC100 would be a walk in the park.

If you're in a hurry, have a look at:
Slewmaster - CFA vs. VFA "Rumble" (plenty of options and PCB designs) or
2stageEF high performance class AB power amp / 200W8R / 400W4R

Otherwise, the wolverine currently developed might fit your bill.

A friend will lend me a Rudi Ratlos FC100 build to test the amp 🙂
