Dabbled with analog for some months, got frustrated with it. Could not stand the surface noise, continuously getting up to change sides, high price of new LP’s, etc. Then, when I was considering getting -more money into the pit- a proper cleaning machine, I said; “that’s enough”, sold my Linn Sondek, bought used in a nostalgic moment remembering one I had 15 years ago, selling cartridges and hence the Pearl. I consider this kind of a pandemic madness episode. It is posted in the swap thread.

First of all one side is about 20 minutes. So if you are Music Lover this should not keep you from listening to the best sound there is on the Planet.
Nobody is listening to the Noise or to the Cracks,, I listen to the music..
There is a very easy countermeasure against noise on Vinyl.. Buy some BABY BUTT WET CLEANING cloth and wipe off the record prior to play it, if you do not want to invest into a good Ultra Sound Cleaning machine.. Things which do not hurt the butt of your baby if you have one, want hurt the Vinyl.!
Again, it's the best sound besides Live sound..No question about this one..
Any enjoy whatever you are going to buy and listening too.. that's the most important one..
Yes, but Manolo decided to be fed up with…
I understand that cracklings "in" the music is a pain, I hate it too.
But I'd never (again, did it once a longtime ago, and boy does that hurt today 😀 ) give away my vinyl-stuff. But that's me.

Sure vinyle is not for anyone. At least you have not based your experience on a cheap deck with cheap phono stage.
